The course aims to present illustration techniques for identification keys and species descriptions. It will include lectures and practical sessions on drawing (different techniques) and photo handling.
Target group: PhD students with a general background in biology. Curators, museums.

Fee: No course fee. For members of STIRS (Swedish Taxonomy Initiative’s Research School) or ForBio (Research School in Biosystematics: http://www.forbio.uio.no/) there are no accommodation costs and travel costs get refunded. Other participants pay for travel to/from Kristineberg, catering, and accommodation.
Registrations, which should be accompanied by a short CV (indicating the nature and stage of your research project) can be sent till August 10. Priority will be given to those PhD-students enrolled in the STIRS and members of ForBio if the maximum number of course participants is exceeded by the number of registrations.
